El Mariachi

A little spice never hurt anyone. That's especially true with this sizzling sensation that's one part Maestro Dobel tequila, one part yellow pepper puree and another part Chartreuse. Balance it with freshly sliced ginger.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Maestro Dobel tequila
- 1.5 oz yellow pepper puree
- ¾ oz Chartreuse
- 2 slices fresh ginger
- ½ lime
- cilantro
- simple syrup
Directions
Add cilantro, lime and a splash of simple syrup in shaker. Add other ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into martini glass. The cocktail was created by David Burke's Primehouse general manager Arif Rahman and sommelier Rachael Johnson Hussar.
